Patricia Gail Routt McAninch, 86, of Nicholasville, KY (formally of Jamestown, KY) passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was born on December 18, 1939 in Sonora, KY, a daughter of the late Dr. Ruel T. Routt and Madeline Bright Routt.
Patricia attended Georgetown College. She was a foster parent to many children and loved all animals. She was the former owner and operator of Kiddie Kapital Daycare in Frankfort. In the1960’s, she helped and assisted the State of Kentucky writing regulations and statues regarding daycares.

1 son: Clete (and Heather) McAninch of Russell Springs
3 daughters: Kelly Moser and Loryn McAninch both of Nicholasville and Marty (and Marty) Walker of Lexington
5 grandchildren: Kristen O’Connor, Chase Moser, Wesley Walker, Raylan McAninch and Lakeli Underwood
Special family members: Brenda Carmicle and Debbie McAninch of Liberty
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eucletus Raye McAninch and one brother, Mike.

Burial: Middleburg Cemetery
