Stephen L. Davis, 78, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at his residence. He was born on June 16, 1948 in Jamestown, KY, a son of the late Clema Thomas Davis and Alvin Davis.
He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force, a retired City of Jamestown employee, and a member of the Church at the Springs. Stephen was an avid card player, loved his family and weekend get-togethers, was a huge John Wayne fan, loved watching western movies and the Andy Griffith Show.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Stewart Davis; a stepson, John Lawrence; and Shirley Ann Johnson (mother to Heather and Troy).

4 grandchildren: Austin Harman, Dakota Harman, Trystan Downey and Dillon Downey
