Bernice M. Brown, 91, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. She was born in Jamestown, KY on January 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Lela (Grider) and Reather Ballenger.

2 brothers: Ben David Ballenger and Barry Ballenger
2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren & one on-the-way
8 step-great-great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Leslie D. Brown; lifelong friend, Larry Acton; three sisters: Billy Jo Hadley, Rebecca Spears, and Brenda Stephenson; three brothers: Boyd Ballenger, Bruce Ballenger, and Brad Ballenger; a great-granddaughter and a great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral Service: Friday, August 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Curtis Ballenger officiating
Visitation: After 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home
Burial: Jamestown Cemetery
