Bobby Ray Kerr, 83, of Russell County, KY passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. He was born October 5, 1942 in Russell County, a son of the late Olie and Martha Ann Bolin Kerr.
Bobby took great pride in his work as a licensed plumber, a profession he practiced with skill and dedication. His work was more than a livelihood; it was something he took genuine pride in and a reflection of his craftsmanship.
Above all, in the final days of his earthly life, Bobby openly professed his faith in the Lord. His family is deeply grateful for this profession of faith and finds peace and comfort in the assurance that, as his earthly journey came to a close, he placed his trust in the Lord.
Bobby shared 39 years of marriage with his wife, Sharon Jenkins Kerr, before her passing on May 24, 2014. Together, they built a large and loving family that remained an important part of his life and legacy.
