Anna Carol Bell Chrisman, 84, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born on April 15, 1942 in the Rowena Community of Russell County, a daughter of the late Osco and Pearl Craig Bell.
Carol was a homemaker and a member of Keys Ferry Baptist Church. She loved singing at church, with her late husband, Charles. Carol also enjoyed camping with her family, working crossword puzzles, playing UNO, and watching wrestling on television.

4 children: Karen Spencer of Taylorsville, Charles E. (and Cathy Jo) Chrisman of Shepherdsville, Angela Denise Lucian of Taylorsville, and Stacy (and Elizabeth Marie) Chrisman of Taylorsville
7 grandchildren: Shannon McCauley, Treva McCauley, Austin Chrisman, Carol Lucian IV, Katie Jo Poston, Kaden Chrisman, and Mason Chrisman
8 great-grandchildren: Morgan, Brianna, Cienna, Brennan, Bryson, Silas Ray, August, and Charlotte
1 brother: Eugene (and Linda) Bell of Jamestown
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Chrisman, who passed away on November 4, 2024; her son-in-law, Donnie Spencer; her brothers: Freddie Bell and Hansel Bell; and her sisters: Rena Grider, Reba Franklin, Linda Graves, and Betty Perkins.
