Marcia Ann Bailey, 82, Russell Springs, KY

Marcia Ann Bailey, 82, of Russell Springs, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026. She was born on August 2, 1944 in Clay County, Tennessee, Ann was one of thirteen children born to George and Elise Burnette.

She lived a life defined by faith, love, family, friendship, and devotion to others, and those who knew her will remember her kind heart, warm smile, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met. One of Ann's greatest joys was supporting Bill and her son, Kevin, in the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. She treasured the countless horse shows, events, and gatherings that became such an important part of her life. Whether she was cheering from the stands, helping behind the scenes, or simply enjoying the fellowship of friends, Ann embraced every opportunity to support those she loved, and through the horse community she formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories that brought her great happiness throughout the years.

Ann will be remembered for her compassion, strength, and servant's heart. She was a woman of deep and abiding faith, lived out quietly and humbly. She rarely, if ever, spoke an unkind word, and moved through life with gentle grace in everything she did. Her home was a place of warmth and hospitality, marked by loyalty and kindness, and she was genuinely beloved by all who were fortunate enough to know her — an uncommon woman who will be sorely missed.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by one sister, Addie Jo Williams; and three brothers: Roy Burnette, David Burnette, and Charles Burnette.
