Rev. Howard I. Britt, 80, of Jamestown, KY passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. He was born July 10, 1946 to the late Jessie Dean and Johnnie Kent Britt.
He was the Pastor of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He also served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He worked for the Fruit of the Loom as well.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Howard Anthony Britt, and two brothers: Gary Britt and Errol Britt.

1 daughter: LaNisha Burton-Neathery of Jamestown
One brother- Jogn Marshall Britt of Champaigne, Illinois,
2 sisters: Geneva Robertson- Mohammed of New York and Victoria Douglas of Springfield, Illinois

Burial in New Zion Cemetery with full military honors presented by V.F. W. Post 6097
Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Friday and anytime on Saturday before service time.
