Cleda M. Simpson, 73, of Jamestown, KY passed away Monday, September 28, 2026 at St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, TN. She was born in Jamestown, KY on August 11, 1953, a daughter of the late Ollie (Lawless) and Raymond Hudson.

1 daughter: Angela Simpson of Jamestown, KY
1 son: Michael Simpson (Mary Jo) of Jamestown, KY
2 brothers: Lannie Hudson and Ronnie Hudson, both of Russell Spring, KY
3 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters: Cola Faye Burton and Carolyn Polston; and three brothers: Lilburn, Leonard, and Billy Joe Hudson.
Funeral Service: Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1:00pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Pastor Kyle Riddle officiating
Burial: Blakey Cemetery, Jamestown, KY
Visitation: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home
