Doyle Wade Stearns, 79, of Greensburg, KY died Friday, October 2, 2026 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. He was born September 9, 1947 in Russell County to the late Thomas Ray and Ada Wade Dunbar Stearns.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Stearns; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nellie and George Henry Keltner; and two step-grandchildren: Abigail and Gabrielle Burton.
Doyle was a retired logger and loved singing the gospel of his Lord and Savior to others. Whether he was singing in his home church, Robinson Chapel, or traveling with Living Waters, he loved giving his testimony in song. Besides his family and singing the gospel, he loved coon hunting and fooling around with his little herd of cattle.
He loved being around people and has never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

4 great-grandchildren: Olivia Kate and Luke Wade Denton, Ramsey Kate and Miller Redmon
4 step-great-grandchildren: Bentley, Everleigh and Beckham Burton and Vince Giles
2 sisters-in-law: Cory Stearns and Rhonda Smith (Louis)
