Henry Fugate, 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026. He was born on February 5, 1939 in Hindman, KY, a son of the late Evie Sloan Fugate and Dan Fugate.
He was a machine operator and of the Southern Baptist Faith. Henry loved sitting on the front porch watching traffic go to the lake. He loved Lake Cumberland and Russell County, boat riding, fishing and hunting. He loved his family and loved being a papa. Henry was a good neighbor in his community and he loved his neighbors, many of whom were very good to him in the last years, showing up when needed.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny, and six siblings: Lois, Junior, Daisy, Ruth, J.E. and David.

1 brother: Jim Fugate (Patty) of Hazard, KY
1 grandson: Christopher Winchester (Erica)
2 great-grandchildren: Alexa and Daxton Winchester

Interment: Union Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY
