Ricky Hugh Dile, 72, was born July 31, 1954 and passed away Friday, October 23, 2026. He was born to Bill and Opal Dile and grew up in Columbia, KY.
He was an accomplished bricklayer who spent many years working in Florida, taking pride in his trade. After retirement, he moved back to Columbia, though he was living in West Palm Beach, Florida at the time of his passing. Family and friends were among the most important part of Ricky’s life. He cherished the time he spent with the people he loved and enjoyed making memories with those closest to him. One of his favorite past time was playing pool, especially at Moore’s Pool Room, where he enjoyed the game and the time spent with friends.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Rowe.

3 grandchildren: Brittany Lopez, Alexis Morales and Luis Morales, Jr.
2 great-grandchildren: Kai Lopez and Kalea Lopez

Ricky will be remembered for the importance he placed on family and friendship, his love of playing pool and the memories he shared with those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date; Details will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.
