Bertha Ann Goodin, 86, of Columbia, KY passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia. She was born on August 3, 1940 in Illinois to the late Willie Mat Feese Sr. and Grace Davis Feese.
Bertha lived a life marked by faith, steady work, and enjoyment of the people and pastimes she loved most. She worked as a bookkeeper at Durham Grocery and M & W Milling, where her dedication and reliability were part of the daily fabric of her work.
She was a member of Beulah Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, where she also served as a Sunday school teacher and song leader. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she gave of herself through both teaching and music in the life of her church community.
Bertha found happiness in many simple and lasting pleasures. She was an avid golfer at Pinewood Country Club and also enjoyed bowling and playing cards. She loved Cincinnati Reds baseball, and that enthusiasm was one more way she shared joy and connection with those around her.
