Donald Ray Hart, 84, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. He was born March 25, 1935 in Esto, KY a son of the late Ireland Hart & Capitola Helm Hart.
 
Mr. Hart was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Russell Springs United Methodist Church.
 
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Mildred Luttrell Hart and 
his 2nd wife, Betty Hart.

Karen Jo Chelf Fones, 66, of Norris, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was born on September 21, 1952 to the late Herman and Ruby Cundiff Chelf in Knifley, KY. 
 
She attended grade school at Knifley and then high school at ACHS before earning a bachelor's degree from Campbellsville University. She loved animals and being in the outdoors. She enjoyed cooking,canning and she loved sports and was a skilled soccer coach. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She touched the lives of so many people and will be dearly missed.

Margie Louise Hilliard Mott, 82, of Burkesville, KY passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. She was born in Lawtey, Florida on December 13, 1936 the daughter of Carl and Weltha Byrd Hilliard. 
 
She was of Baptist faith, a member of Clear Fork Baptist Church, and a homemaker. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Marshall Mott, whom she married Sunday, November 21, 1954, and siblings, Luther, Juanita, Geneva, Ieva, Inez, Dommie, Jason, James, and Claude.

Mary Frances Collins, 94, of Glensfork, KY died Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, KY.  Born in Adair County, KY she was the daughter of the late Liston and Pearl Grant Antle and wife of the late Buel Collins.
 
Mrs. Collins was a member of the Mt Zion Presbyterian Church at Glensfork. She was a former employee of Oshkosh and a caregiver for many of her family members over the years. 
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Antle and 2 sisters, Jewell Bledsoe and Edna Bryson.

Martha E. Hagan, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Charlie and Orpha (Spears) Nevins, was born December 13, 1932 in Celina, TN and departed this life on Monday, July 29, 2019 in Campbellsville at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Church of Christ.  Martha was a former factory worker and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and making curtains.
 
She united in marriage to George Hagan in 1954 he preceded her in death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by 6 siblings: Jack, Hubert, Cliff, Billie, Olene and Catherine.

Earlene Bright Holtzclaw, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Benjamin Hicks & Essie Faye Hayes Hicks was born April 8, 1934 in Watauga County, North Carolina. She died at 4:15 P.M., Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Campbellsville.  
 
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. Earlene was a talented seamstress having worked at Brack’s and Magnolia Alley making custom window treatments.
 
She united in marriage to Robert Bright December 27, 1950. He preceded her in death July 16, 1994. She later united in marriage to John Holtzclaw June 10, 2000. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronnie L. Bright and three sisters and one brother: Leona Cable, Bennie Warren, Gertrude Bright and Lewis Hicks.

Shelton Lee Davis II, 59, of Greensburg, KY died Thursday, July 25, 2019.  He was born March 6, 1960 in Columbus Mississippi to Lydia Louise Stringer and Shelton Lee Davis.  
 
He was married to Brenda Montgomery on July 11, 1993. Shelton really enjoyed his job as a truck driver because he loved to travel.  He was most was recently employed by Trans-Cor in Somerset.  His hobbies included fishing and spending time with his family.  He was generous and kind. He loved well and was well-loved by all family and friends. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Sulphur Wells Community
 
He was preceded in death by his wife: Brenda, mother: Lydia,  & father: Shelton.

Elwin Lee Martin, Jr., 78, of Campbellsville, KY, a son of the late Elwin Lee “Bub” Martin, Sr. and Marie Frances “Dollie” Malone Martin, was born September 23, 1940 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 11:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Campbellsville. 
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. In his younger years, he enjoyed bird hunting and fishing. He was a past Master of Elk Horn Mason Lodge 568 F & A M. Elwin was a retired heavy equipment operator.
 
He united in marriage to Lana Carol Williams June 30, 1961 and she preceded him in death March 25, 2017. He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Martin Rainwater.

Linda was of the Pentecostal faith; she loved spending time with family and was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church. Regena was a retired employee of Cintas.
 
She united in marriage to Delbert Beard May 5, 1951 and he preceded her in death November 27, 2017. She was also preceded in death by a son, Glendal Keith Beard, one sister and three brothers: Wilma Bradshaw, Lyman Bradshaw, Dallas Bradshaw and Willard Bradshaw.

Leslie Brown “Red” Thrasher, 79, of Burkesville, KY passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. He was born in Tulare, California on Thursday, December 8, 1939 the son of Brownie and Mary Kate Dicken Thrasher. 
 
He attended Burkesville First Christian Church, was a U.S. Army Veteran, a business owner of Taco Mayo Restaurants, a former employee of the Chrysler Mopar Division of the Chrysler-Dodge Corporation, and an antique car collector. 
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Ida Maud Tallent Thrasher, whom he married on Saturday, January 4, 1969, his maternal grandparents: Leslie and Abigail Dicken, 5 brothers-in-law: Bobby Tallent, J.D. Tallent, Johnny Tallent, Guy Tallent, Joe Tallent, and his nephew: Warren Tallent.

Ferry White, 87, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the home of his daughter in Columbia, KY. Ferry was born on July 20, 1932 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Dewey Seagle White and Beulah Mae Ballard White. 
 
He was a longtime carpenter.

MARILYN LANDIS, 53, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Marilyn Rayna Landis, 53, the daughter of the late Jimmy Roution and Lynna Beth (Kerr) Gupton was born December 13, 1965 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Campbellsville at her home. 
 
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father: Bobby Gupton and a sister: April Gupton.
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. She was a former medical billing encoder and a former employee of Intelenet. She was very crafty, enjoyed sewing, reading, playing the guitar, singing and listening to music of all kinds, she loved to dance and spend time with family and friends.

ZACHARY POWELL, 28, SOMERSET

 
Zachary Dale Powell, 28, died in his sleep Monday, July 22, 2019 at his apartment in Somerset, KY.
 
Zach was passionate about music, poetry, and writing. He loved performing and creating music, and often collaborated with other musicians for his compositions. Zach enjoyed nature, animals, and working with his hands. He was quiet, thoughtful, sincere, and loyal, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

J.T. Beard, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Dennis Beard and Ida Mary Rice Beard, was born April 9, 1932 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 6:56 A.M., Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Lexington, KY.
 
J.T. professed faith in Christ, was of the Baptist faith and also enjoyed singing in the choir. He also enjoyed being outdoors and loved gardening and fishing. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. J.T. was a retired supervisor with Tennessee Gas Transmission.
 
He united in marriage to Melva Wethington December 6, 1957.

Mary Martha Noel, 62,of Russell Springs, KY died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY. She was born January 29, 1957 in Commiskey, Indiana to Dallas Owens and the late Irene Coffey Owens.
 
Mary was an  accountant and a member of Freedom Christian Church.
 
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; William Coffey, Alan Owens and a niece, Destinee Turner.

CYNTHIA JANE ROWE, 82, COLUMBIA

 
Cynthia Jane Rowe, 82, of Columbia, KY died Friday, July 19, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born May 10, 1937 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Robert Ashby and Nellie Eckert Tevebaugh.
 
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Madison.  After his death, she later married Haskin “Hack” Rowe, who also preceded her in death on April 8, 2019, and preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Jill Rowe.  
 
Cynthia was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church and formerly worked in the medical billing department for Cardiovascular Associates in Louisville. She was best known for her charity work as director of the Adair County Food Pantry and was the oldest active member of the Adair County Jaycees.  As past chairman of the Adair County Parks and Recreation Board, she worked hard for improvements at the Jim Blair Community Center.  Cynthia was very active in politics, having served on the Adair County Democrat Executive Board.  Other organizations that she was a member of included the Adair County Fair Association, Egypt Court #76 of the Ladies Shrine of North America, a Lady Legionette, an Eastern Star and a Kentucky Colonel.  She was also an avid basketball fan where she would sit on the front row at the John Burr Memorial Gymnasium for many years cheering for Adair County.

Wanda Lee Willis of Radcliff, 67, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Tom Harris and Dencie Lee Bray Harris, was born February 10, 1952 in Larue County, KY.  She died Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Radcliff.    
 
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Wanda was a former Certified Nursing Assistant at Taylor Regional Hospital.  
 
She united in marriage to James R. “Jim” Willis August 15, 1970 and he preceded her in death April 10, 1998. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother & 1 sister:  Junior Harris and Judy Richardson.

Ella J. Holmes, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Hawk Johnson and Zeola Beshears Johnson, was born December 8, 1931 in Russell County, KY. She died at 3:55 P.M., Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Campbellsville.    
 
Ella professed faith in Christ and loved God and loved attending church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. Ella was a loving mother and grandmother and also loved helping to care for the elderly. 
 
She united in marriage to Samuel Carl Holmes March 1, 1947. He preceded her in death September 13, 2013. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kim Holmes, a granddaughter, Bethany Mann, a grandson, Tadd Holmes; and 2 sisters & 5 brothers: Clarice Tavault, Elsie Walker, Earl Johnson, Eura Johnson, Houston Johnson, Carlie Johnson and Winford Johnson.

Pamilia Sue Estes, 60, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, was a daughter of the late Odell Estes and Edith A. Whitlock Estes. She was born October 22, 1958 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Prestonsburg, KY. 
 
Pam had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church. She touched many lives on a daily basis in her employment with Dairy Queen as a regional manager in Eastern Kentucky. She was also a former manager of Greensburg Dairy Queen for many years. She was an avid University of Kentucky fan and was loved by most everyone who knew her.
 
Survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law: Judy and Randall Vetter of Campbellsville, and Debbie Estes of Lexington; a niece: Anita Vetter-Nolen of Lexington; two nephews: Eli Estes of Louisville, and Tim Vetter and his companion, Lori Bowen of Campbellsville; a great-niece and two great-nephews: Haley Vetter, Chad Nolen, and Liam Nolen; and a host of other relatives and friends

BILLIE JOE DISHMAN, 70, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Billie Joe "Bill" Dishman, 70, of Campbellsville, KY was born on August 12, 1948 in Wayne County to the late June Toomie and Della Mae (Stinson) Dishman. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. 
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and enjoyed attending several area churches. He was a carpenter by trade and had built several homes. Mr. Dishman enjoyed staying active and being outdoors. He was often found piddling around a flea market, or just riding around enjoying the scenery. He was a proud lifetime member of the NRA, and loved watching his grandkids and dogs play. 
 
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Donnie Dishman, Delmar Dishman, Trammell Dishman, Betty Burnette, and Jewell Dishman.

Tremaine J. McArthur, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Earl McArthur and Helen Rowlands McArthur, was born January 22, 1932 in Remsen, New York. He died at 10:40 A.M., Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in Campbellsville. 
 
He professed faith in Christ. Tremaine was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served his country honorably in the United States Navy on the USS Wren. He was a retired U. S. Government civilian employee. Tremaine was a very supportive father and was a member of the Hathaway Masonic Lodge #869 where he was past Master and Secretary.
 
He united in marriage to Judith Hammon November 15, 1958, who survives.
 
Besides his wife, he is survived by 1 son & 1 daughter: Andrew J. McArthur of New York and Dr. Lisa R. McArthur of Campbellsville, KY; 1 brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Albert John Hammon & Jan Hammon of Florida.
 
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Heber McArthur.

Rebecca A. Grant, 79 of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at  T J Samson Hospital in Glasgow, KY after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Owen L. & Lorine Grider Claywell of Adair County, KY.
 
She was the widow of Elford Grant who preceded her in death on July 8, 2012. She was also preceded in death by one daughter & step-son: Lisa Kay Branham & Larry Grant on July 9, 1977, and by one brother: Floyd Claywell.
 
Mrs. Grant was a member of the Emory Chapel Methodist Church and had attended the Hadley Community Church, she worked in the jewelry department at Wal-Mart for many years.  Her hobbies were showing her antique cars in car shows and enjoying company with family and friends.

Inez Bailey Burbridge, 92, of the Fairplay community of Adair County, KY passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 in Campbellsville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Jack & Arvin Adamson Bailey of Adair County.
 
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Woodrow Burbridge on April 24, 2006, by an infant son, Johnnie Woodrow Burbridge Jr. on February 3, 1945 and by 2 brothers & 1 sister: Parker Bailey, Jackie Bailey, & Vivian Gadberry.

Joyce Marie Jones Graham, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Archie VanHook Jones and Eva Lucille Pike Jones, was born July 18, 1943 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 10:35 P.M., Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Campbellsville.         
Joyce professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church known today as Lowell Avenue Baptist Church where she was the Director of Women on Mission. She was also a member of the Lunch Bunch, Bunco Babes Group, Happy Hearts and the Warm Blessings Group. Joyce was a retired secretary for the Vocational Rehab Services.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Rex Jones and Archie Jones, Jr.
 
She united in marriage to Edward “Eddie” L. Graham, Sr. February 6, 1960 and he preceded her in death February 12, 2015.

BARBARA JOYCE SMITH, 82, LEXINGTON (FORMERLY OF COLUMBIA)

 
Barbara Joyce Smith, 82, of Lexington, KY (a native of Adair County), passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. She was born in Columbia, KY to Allen & Evelyn Moore.
 
Barbara was the eldest of 6 children. The family moved to Chicago, Illinois during WWII then returned to Columbia where at Adair County High School she met her soon-to-be husband, Benjamin Hueston Smith. They married in 1954 and raised 5 children. On their Cane Valley farm, they raised tobacco and angus cattle, and she worked at the Union Underwear in neighboring Campbellsville, KY where she made many life-long friends. Having raised their children to adulthood, sending all five to college and successful lives, she and her husband enjoyed their retired years on their farm, fishing, visiting family, and traveling together.
 
Her husband of almost 60 years passed in 2013. Joyce then moved to Lexington, KY to be closer to her children. Her final years were spent surrounded by her friends and loving family and traveling to places like Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, and Alaska. She also made many new friends she cherished in her new neighborhood and throughout Lexington.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Joe Allen Moore in 2017.

Orman had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II.  He was a farmer and a tool and die maker.

Joyce Huber, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Willie Bennett and Gertie Hunt Bennett, was born May 1, 1933 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 2:32 P.M., Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Louisville, KY.        
 
She was saved at the age of 9 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was one of the original four founding members. She and her husband, Al, were very dedicated to the ministry and especially enjoyed travel evangelism. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and prayer warrior. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed shopping when she wasn’t running Huber’s Restaurant.
 
Joyce united in marriage to Al Huber and he preceded her in death April 26, 2009. She was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Forest T. Rhinehart, 95, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late George Lester Rhinehart and Clara Jarboe Rhinehart, was born March 30, 1924 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 3:15 A.M., Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Lebanon. 
 
He professed faith in Christ and was member of Reids Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church until they united with Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Forest was a retired farmer.
 
He united in marriage to Audrey Hubbard who preceded him in death 1989. Forest later united in marriage to Anna Jean Rattliff October 12, 2002 and she preceded him in death April 5, 2019.

HARLAND WRIGHT, 84, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Harland G. Wright of Campbellsville, 84, son of the late Walter Wright and Gertrude Martin Wright, was born November 22, 1934 in Taylor County, KY.  He died at 3:37 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Campbellsville.        
 
Harland professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple. He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom. 
 
On April 15, 1974 Harland headed for Nashville, Tennessee to enroll in Auctioneer School. He spent two weeks training for different aspects of becoming an auctioneer like the chant of an auctioneer, which seemed to be natural for him.  The first year after completing his training, he served his apprenticeship under Finis Durrett, owner of Durrett Auction Co. from Greensburg, Kentucky. He auctioned at several stockyards including Leitchfield, Louisville, Bowling Green and several more across the state. In 1977 He joined Kessler Auction & Realty Company as a full time auctioneer he also served as auctioneer at Taylor County Stockyards.  After the closure of the Stockyards he continued to conduct auctions for Kessler Auction & Realty Company. If you attended one of the sales you would hear the chant of Harland Wright as he auctioneered and you would see his wife, Judy by his side as she clerked the sales. Harland also enjoyed playing his banjo and guitar for his family and friends.
 
He united in marriage to Jewell Garnett September 15, 1956 and she preceded him in death April 18, 1981. Harland later united in marriage to Judy Richerson June 26, 1982. He was also preceded in death by 1 son, Darrell Wright and 2 brothers: Wilburn Wright and Dennis Wright.

Leon A. Miller, 72, was born August 22, 1946 in Concord, New Hampshire to the late Leon Miller, Sr. and Vivian Farrell Miller. He departed this life Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his home in the Summersville community of Green County, KY.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ.  He was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a chef and construction worker.

Buford R. “Smitty” Smith, 94, formerly of Columbia and Burkesville, KY entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Greenwood Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green. He was born November 15, 1924 in Adair County to the late Marion & Stella Clark Smith. 
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “Billy” Howard Smith.  After her death, he married Lida Jones Smith, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lowell & Charles Smith, and one sister, Mary F. Sparks.  
 
Buford was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Germany during WWII.  He was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church, attended Burkesville First United Methodist Church & Christ United Methodist Church in Bowling Green.  Buford was also a member of the VFW, the Columbia/Adair County Fire Department and a salesman for Sysco Food Service.

Samuel "Sam" Edward Thompson, 86, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Marvin Edward Thompson & Tressie Mae Froggett Thompson, was born March 9, 1933 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Louisville, KY.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greenhill Baptist Church. He worked for Anaconda Wire and Cable Company in Summersville for 17 years. He was employed by the Green County Waste Water Treatment Facility for 15 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post # 5813 having served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. He was President of the Jaycees in 1969, Democratic Regional Commissioner for 39 years and past chairman of the Green County Democratic party.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was formerly a Quality Control Operator at Amazon and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. 
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Sallee on April 18, 2002 having united in marriage on August 1, 1964.

Doris Lynn Ginter, 79, of Campbellsville, KY passed peacefully from this life on Monday, July 1, 2019 at her home. She was born in Lincoln County, KY on September 8, 1939 to the late William Holman and Minnie Louise (Mason) Duncan.
 
She was a former cafeteria worker and retired from the Taylor County School District. Mrs. Ginter had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a voracious reader, often reading a novel a day, and that appetite for education helped her keep a sharp wit. Her kind and soft heart made her a favorite Granny, and she relished that role.

LaWanda Kay Smith, 50, of Campbellsville, KY was born on September 21, 1968 in Adair County and departed this life on Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Louisville at Jewish Hospital. 
 
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She was raised by an enlisted mother and lived in several places across the globe, including 3 years in Germany. While there, she loved to go skiing in the winter months and bowling in the summer. When her mother was stationed at Fort Knox, she would went to camp every summer - and that was the only time she spent away from family. She was a graduate of the Fort Knox High School, and worked at Adanta Tenco Development Services in Campbellsville. She loved to sing, dance, and play bingo or slot machines, and enjoyed long, relaxing walks. Ms. Smith had an affectionate heart and loved people, and was certain that everyone she met loved her in return.

J.W. was a former employee of American Testing and Engineering Corporation and Arco Mining. He was a member of Waterview Church of Christ.

Larry Blake Pinson, 72, of Campbellsville and Pikeville, KY was born on May 9, 1947 to the late Blake Pinson and Anna Rae Dotson Pinson in Pikeville, KY. He passed from this life on July 1, 2019.
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pikeville and attended the Mannsville United Methodist Church.  At an early age, his parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and sharp sense of business. He married his loving and devoted wife and partner, Gayle Minor Pinson, on September 27, 1975. Together they worked side by side to operate many successful business adventures, with his passion being real estate. Larry was known for his tough negotiating skills, vast real estate knowledge, and making every dollar count. He was an avid horse and mule enthusiast who loved riding and just simply being around them. He enjoyed watching old westerns and horse races. He always betted on his close friend Ken Ramsey’s horses, and when able to attend the race he looked forward to joining them in the winner’s circle. He was honored when Ken named three horses after him; Pinson, Mellon-Cutter, and Tightwad. Larry loved to auctioneer and the excitement of the sale. Out of all of his hobbies, trail riding in the truck was always his favorite.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Dotson Pinson.
 
SURVIVORS: Wife: Gayle Pinson; 3 daughters: Anna Pinson Spears & husband Robbie, Lisa Sizemore & husband Rory, and Lesley Anderson & husband Chris all of Pikeville, KY; 6 grandchildren; Blake & Chrisley Anderson, Ava & Hadley Sizemore, and Archer & Piper Spears; cousin & lifelong friend: Bert Hatfield; several other cousins, in-laws, and many close friends
 
Larry Blake lived his life the way he wanted…His Way! He wrote his own rules, paved his own way, and was a fighter until the end.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Mannsville United Methodist Church, either to the church directly or through the funeral home.

Evelyn Lawhorn Bunch, 81, of New Hill, NC (formerly of Columbia, KY) died Friday, June 28, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in New Hill, NC.  Born in Columbia, KY she was the daughter of the late Chester and Elsie Burton Lawhorn and wife of the late Rufus Bunch, Jr.
 
Mrs. Bunch was a member of the Glensfork Community Church.  She loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends.  She was a kind and gentle spirit that raised a loving and close family.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons: J. Harold Bunch & Larry Wayne Bunch, 2 brothers: Ores & Randall Lawhorn, 3 sisters: Eula Loy, Louise Furkin & Martha Ellen Lawhorn, a granddaughter: Jennifer Lynn Bunch and 2 great grandchildren: Kaine & Kadence Bunch.

Bobby Gene Holt, 80, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, June 29th, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Russell Springs, KY on April 11, 1939, a son of the late Rose (Selby) and Estus  Holt.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Marie Kilpatrick, Ruby McGowan, & Barbara Jean Holt and by 2 brothers: Carson & Ralph Holt.
 
Bobby was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where he was song leader as well as Sunday school teacher for many years. He was the owner of Holt's Mobile Homes.

Sharalyn "Shara" Jenise Whitley, 48, of Campbellsville, KY was born on June 2, 1971.  She died at 8:45 A.M., Friday, June 28, 2019 in Campbellsville. 
 
She was preceded in death by her dad, the late Rev. Charles "Lanny" Whitley.
 
Shara professed faith in Christ and was a member of Faith Covenant Ministries where she loved to sing and praise God. She was a "girlie girl" - always wanting to wear dresses and necklaces, carrying her bags and purse where ever she went. She loved to party and dance. Shara loved going out to eat and McDonald's was her favorite. Everyone who met her loved her and she always wanted a hug from everyone she met. Shara loved her family and truly was a daddy's girl.

Francine Burton, 74, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.  Born in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anne Ricci Gaspar and wife of the late Marshall Burton.  
 
She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Phillip Willis and several brothers & sisters-in-law.
 
In recent years, Francine was a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home where she was very active and served in various positions for the residents. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was a former member of the Peaknuckle Club in Chicago, IL.

He was retired from the Jamestown Water Waste Plant.
