V.D. Tucker, 84, of Russell Springs, KY died Friday, August 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1935 in Russell County, KY to the late Delmer and Dona Tucker.
V. D. was preceeded in death by his wife, Edora Tucker and a sister, Frances Houston.
He was a carpenter and built 80 homes in Russell County from 1958 to 1999.

Jeanne Carrol (Morgan) Claywell, 75, of Burkesville, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family whom she adored. She was born on Friday, February 4, 1944 in Georgetown, KY, the daughter of the late Guy and Margaret (Winfrey) Morgan.
Jeanne accepted the Lord as her personal Savior many years ago and was a member of the First Christian Church of Burkesville where she was a Sunday School teacher, organist, and pianist for many years. She retired from the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service giving 30 years of dedication as a secretary.

Everett Howard Harvey, 76, of Russell Springs, KY passed away August 22, 2019 peacefully after a long illness. He was born April 23, 1943 in Russell Springs to the late Shafter and Lena Whittle Harvey.
Everett was a retired truck driver for Sallee Horse Vans of Lexington and an honorary driver for JR Hudson Transport. He loved driving a truck almost as much as he loved a game of Rook and a good conversation with anyone. He never met a stranger and to know him was to love him.
He was a member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church.

Dr. William David Hedrick, 74, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Martin, Tennessee on August 30, 1944 to the late John Charles, Sr. and Christine Lenore (Jones) Hedrick. He departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Glasgow at the T.J. Samson Medical Center following an extended illness.
Dr. Hedrick had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a talented and respected professor of music at Campbellsville University until his health necessitated his retirement.

Michael Anthony Fenwick, 64, of Campbellsville, KY passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Springview Hospital in Lebanon. He was born in Jefferson County on July 30, 1955 to the late Charles and Mamie (Masterson) Fenwick.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Fenwick, or “Mikie”, as he was affectionately known, was the proud husband of nearly 40 years to Mrs. Judy (Noel) Fenwick, and the cherished daddy to two daughters. He enjoyed the simple things of life, and loved to laugh and crack jokes at every opportunity. Although accomplished in life, he remained humble and true to himself throughout.
He was a veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed tinkering on motorcycles and making historic furniture replicas, and had once coached his softball team to nationals.
Outside of his family, his biggest passion was reenacting Civil War battles, where he played the role of General of the Army of Tennessee.

Sarah Laverne Crawley, 86, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Treyton Oak Towers in Louisville, KY. She was a daughter of the late Robert Lewis Gupton and Sarah (Sally) Katherine Sanders Gupton and was born February 18, 1933 in Taylor County, KY.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she taught Children’s Sunday School classes, Girls in Action, Acteens, and was an active member of the Women’s Missionary Union. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom and had worked at Victor’s and Bobbie Jean’s in Campbellsville, and as a bookkeeper for Superior Radio in in Lebanon, where her husband was co-owner.
Sarah was united in marriage to Dennis Wilmore Crawley, Jr. on April 10, 1950. She was known for her sewing and creating many quilts and animals for family and friends. Sarah and her late husband, Dennis (Jr.), were known as loving, generous people who gave of their time and ministered to numerous people in their church and community. They gladly opened their home to many and were affectionately known as “Mom and Pop.”

Roberda McCubbin, 93, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Arthur Hayes and Bessie Sidebottom Hayes, was born September 28, 1925 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 8:20 A.M., Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she also served as Elder. Roberda was a former custodian at Campbellsville Public Library.
She united in marriage to Elmer “Boss” McCubbin December 22, 1945. He preceded her in death April 20, 1968.

Loyd Wayne Bell, 71, of the Levelwoods community passed from this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his home after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born on April 19, 1948 to the late Creed and Myrtle (Warren) Bell.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Larue County. He was a former production worker at Kentucky Cooperage and a farmer.
Mr. Bell was married to Mrs. Kimberly (Brown) Bell, who preceded him in death.
He enjoyed keeping his yard tidy and neat and working on small engines, but his first love was his grandkids. He was especially proud of them and loved spending as much time as possible with them.
