Remona Whittle Popplewell, 82, of Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. She was born January 27, 1937 in Russell County to the late Elvis Earl & Ada West Tucker.
 
Remona was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Hollis "I.U." Whittle and Grant Popplewell; 6 brothers: Arvester Mose Tucker, Sylvester Tilburn Tucker, Lester B. Tucker, Chester Tucker, Rev. Elvis Tucker, and Leslie Tucker.

Kennith was an insurance agent, a member of Russell Springs Christian Church, and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Kenneth Donald Litton, 84, of Flat Top Lake, West Virginia passed away Monday, August 26, 2019. Ken was born December 4, 1934 in Glasgow, West Virginia the son of Virginia N. McQuillen Litton & Orville Donald Litton.
 
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Rebecca, David and Keith.

Mary Bishop, 81, was born October 28, 1937 in Scott County, KY to the late Walter Thomas Perkins, Sr. and Alice Frances Adair Perkins. She departed this life Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY.
 
Mary had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. She was a Life Member of the James L. Pruitt VFW Post 5813, Greensburg, KY, a member of the Rod Lowe American Legion Post 124, Greensburg, Greensburg Historical Society and Harrodsburg Historical Society.
 
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Mason Bishop, 2 brothers: Walter Perkins, Jr. and Charles Kenneth Perkins and 1 sister: Jeannette Ann Miller.

VERNICE JOHNSON, 78, CAMPBELLSVILLE (GREEN CO. NATIVE)

 
Vernice Robinson, 78, of Campbellsville, KY (a native of Green County) died Thursday evening, August 22, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She was born July 17, 1941 to the late James and Birdie Embry.
 
Vernice was a member of the Mt. Union Baptist Church and remained faithful in attendance until her health didn’t allow her to attend. She was married to Johnnie Robinson who preceded her in death.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 sister: Nancy Owens; 1 brother William Lewis Richardson, and 3 grandchildren: Barry Golder, Shalita Golder and De’Vonte Golder.
 
Vernice loved her family and church. She loved to cook and was famous for her three- and four-layer cakes. She loved to cut up and make people laugh with her contagious smile and big personality, however she also knew how to get her point across when she needed too. She loved children and loved to spoil them.

VERNON RAY CARTER, 83, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Vernon Ray “Pete” Carter, 83, of Campbellsville, KY was born on July 23, 1936 to the late James and Edna (Pritchard) Carter. He departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
 
He was a retiree of Greensburg Manufacturing. Vernon married Carolyn Gowen, who preceded him in death. Later he married Mildred Davis, who also preceded him. He was also preceded in death by 2 siblings: Doyle Carter and Lindsey Carter.
 
Mr. Carter enjoyed retirement and was often quoted as “piddling”. He enjoyed tinkering around on his lawnmower and keeping his yard tidy, or just relaxing in front of the TV.

Rella M. Roy (Gosser), 91, of Franklin, Indiana died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving children. She was born on August 14, 1928 in Russell Springs, KY to James Joshua and Eva (Chumbley) Gosser.  
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Avert Gerald Roy in 2009 and 3 siblings: Ervil Gosser, Ilda Scales, and Lora Butcher.

Cecil Paul Young, 91, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital. Cecil was born on October 24, 1927 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Willie Paul Young and Agnes Garrett Young. 
 
He was a retired truck driver for Kerns Bakery after 24 years of service and after retirement was a fishing guide on Dale Hollow Lake for five years. Cecil was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church.
 
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Garner Young, one brother, Clayton Young, and two sisters, Hazel Prewitt and Dorothy Smith.

Phillip Johnson, 76, of Louisville, KY, son of the late Verlin Johnson and Aggie Bradley Johnson, was born May 7, 1943 in Floyd County, KY. He died at 2:20 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Louisville.    
 
Phillip worked in the railroad industry for many years as a welder, painter and general handyman. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting or anything having to do with the woods.
 
He united in marriage to Bonnie Wilcher May 16, 1964.
 
Besides his wife, Bonnie Wilcher Johnson of Louisville, he is survived by 1 son, Wayne Johnson of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

WALTER FORREST, 98, ELK HORN

 
Walter Forrest, 98, of Elk Horn, KY, son of the late Alfred Lee Forrest and Maggie Belle Leonard Forrest, was born July 15, 1921, in Taylor County, KY. He died at 3:30 P.M., Sunday, August 25, 2019 in Elk Horn. 
 
Walter professed faith in Christ and was a member of White’s Ridge General Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and served his country honorable in the United States Army. Walter was a retired employee of Bourbon Cooperage after 28 years of service and also a farmer.
 
He united in marriage to Elizabeth Bright October 8, 1949 and she preceded him in death March 6, 2016.
 
SURVIVORS: 1 son & 3 daughters: Ronald Forrest and wife Nancy of Elk Horn, Brenda Haycraft and husband Darrell of Louisville, Donna Lankford and husband Mike of Pekin, Indiana and Michelle Forrest of Nashville, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Lena Brockman of Casey Creek; several nieces & nephews and many other relatives & friends.
 
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Alfred Forrest, Russell Forrest, Robert Forrest, Patsy Piercy, Martha Gabehart and Gene Sanders.

Maggie Nell Flowers, 83, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Clinton County Care and Rehab in Albany, KY. She was born in Cumberland County, KY on Friday, April 17, 1936, the daughter of Alvie Mitchell and Ella May (Pierce) Flowers. 
 
She was of Christian faith and a Kindergarten Aide for Cumberland County Board of Education.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Jackson Flowers, an infant sister, nephew, Dewayne Flowers, brothers-in-law, Hall Thrasher, Raymond Radford, and sister-in-law, Pat Flowers.

Prenith Burton, 86, of Glasgow, KY died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Adair County, KY, he was the son of the late Johnny Burton and Delia McQuary Burton.
 
Mr. Burton was a pipe fitter for 40 years with Louisville Gas and Electric retiring in 1991. He attended the Glasgow First Church of God.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thelbert Burton and a sister, Betty Sneed.

JOHNNY HUNT, 58, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Johnny Everett Hunt, 58, of Campbellsville, KY was born on April 9, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ezra Earl and Tressie Ellen (Graham) Hunt. He departed this life on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Hunt was an ASE certified mechanic but he preferred the freedom of the road. He was an over-the-road truck driver many years, retiring only when his health began to fail. His kind heart and giving spirit will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Keltner on September 20, 2006.  
 
Ruby was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church and a retired Educator from the Adair County School System after 30 years of teaching.

Rebecca (Spradlin) “Becky” Tungate, 66, of Liberty, KY passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Nashville, TN at Vanderbilt University Hospital. She was born in Boaz, Alabama on January 4, 1953 to the late Edward and Mae (Black) Spradlin. 
 
Mrs. Tungate had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church. She was an employee of the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce. She loved her grandchildren dearly, and hand-made many an heirloom quilt for them.

V.D. Tucker, 84, of Russell Springs, KY died Friday, August 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 12, 1935 in Russell County, KY to the late Delmer and Dona Tucker.  

 

V. D. was preceeded in death by his wife, Edora Tucker and a sister, Frances Houston.

 

He was a carpenter and built 80 homes in Russell County from 1958 to 1999.

Jeanne Carrol (Morgan) Claywell, 75, of Burkesville, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family whom she adored. She was born on Friday, February 4, 1944 in Georgetown, KY, the daughter of the late Guy and Margaret (Winfrey) Morgan. 

 

Jeanne accepted the Lord as her personal Savior many years ago and was a member of the First Christian Church of Burkesville where she was a Sunday School teacher, organist, and pianist for many years. She retired from the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service giving 30 years of dedication as a secretary.

EVERETT HOWARD HARVEY, 76, RUSSELL SPRINGS

 

Everett Howard Harvey, 76, of Russell Springs, KY passed away August 22, 2019 peacefully after a long illness. He was born April 23, 1943 in Russell Springs to the late Shafter and Lena Whittle Harvey.

Everett was a retired truck driver for Sallee Horse Vans of Lexington and an honorary driver for JR Hudson Transport. He loved driving a truck almost as much as he loved a game of Rook and a good conversation with anyone. He never met a stranger and to know him was to love him.

 

He was a member of Russell Springs First Baptist Church.

DR. WILLIAM HEDRICK, 74, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 

Dr. William David Hedrick, 74, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Martin, Tennessee on August 30, 1944 to the late John Charles, Sr. and Christine Lenore (Jones) Hedrick. He departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Glasgow at the T.J. Samson Medical Center following an extended illness.  

 

Dr. Hedrick had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a talented and respected professor of music at Campbellsville University until his health necessitated his retirement.

MICHAEL ANTHONY FENWICK, 64, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 

Michael Anthony Fenwick, 64, of Campbellsville, KY passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Springview Hospital in Lebanon. He was born in Jefferson County on July 30, 1955 to the late Charles and Mamie (Masterson) Fenwick.

 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Fenwick, or “Mikie”, as he was affectionately known, was the proud husband of nearly 40 years to Mrs. Judy (Noel) Fenwick, and the cherished daddy to two daughters. He enjoyed the simple things of life, and loved to laugh and crack jokes at every opportunity. Although accomplished in life, he remained humble and true to himself throughout. 

 

He was a veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed tinkering on motorcycles and making historic furniture replicas, and had once coached his softball team to nationals.

 

Outside of his family, his biggest passion was reenacting Civil War battles, where he played the role of General of the Army of Tennessee.

SARAH LAVERNE CRAWLEY, 86, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 

Sarah Laverne Crawley, 86, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Treyton Oak Towers in Louisville, KY. She was a daughter of the late Robert Lewis Gupton and Sarah (Sally) Katherine Sanders Gupton and was born February 18, 1933 in Taylor County, KY. 

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she taught Children’s Sunday School classes, Girls in Action, Acteens, and was an active member of the Women’s Missionary Union. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom and had worked at Victor’s and Bobbie Jean’s in Campbellsville, and as a bookkeeper for Superior Radio in in Lebanon, where her husband was co-owner. 

 

Sarah was united in marriage to Dennis Wilmore Crawley, Jr. on April 10, 1950. She was known for her sewing and creating many quilts and animals for family and friends. Sarah and her late husband, Dennis (Jr.), were known as loving, generous people who gave of their time and ministered to numerous people in their church and community. They gladly opened their home to many and were affectionately known as “Mom and Pop.”

Roberda McCubbin, 93, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Arthur Hayes and Bessie Sidebottom Hayes, was born September 28, 1925 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 8:20 A.M., Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Campbellsville.        

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she also served as Elder. Roberda was a former custodian at Campbellsville Public Library.

 

She united in marriage to Elmer “Boss” McCubbin December 22, 1945. He preceded her in death April 20, 1968.

Loyd Wayne Bell, 71, of the Levelwoods community passed from this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his home after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born on April 19, 1948 to the late Creed and Myrtle (Warren) Bell. 

 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Larue County. He was a former production worker at Kentucky Cooperage and a farmer.

 

Mr. Bell was married to Mrs. Kimberly (Brown) Bell, who preceded him in death. 

 

He enjoyed keeping his yard tidy and neat and working on small engines, but his first love was his grandkids. He was especially proud of them and loved spending as much time as possible with them.

She united in marriage to Billy Joe Vance August 8, 1970 who preceded her in death on June 21, 1990. She united in marriage on July 7, 2001 to Ronnie Young of Greensburg who survives.

Juanita Lynn Callahan Tucker, 60, of Greensburg, KY passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in Campbellsville. She was born Friday, May 22, 1959 in Taylor County, KY to Eugene Bradley and the late Mary Lee Bailey Callahan.
 
Juanita was united in marriage to her husband, Johnny Tucker on March 21, 2012 in Knifley. She was actively involved in her church, New Journey Church in Campbellsville, and devoted her heart and life to Jesus. Juanita loved to pray with people and express her genuine love for Jesus. She dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baby sitting. During her life, Juanita made many memories that her survivors will cherish for eternity and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
 
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Mary Lee Bailey Callahan who passed away in 2000 and her brother, Danny Ray Bailey.

Barbara Warren Dobson, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Clarence W. Newton and Iris Gaines Newton, was born March 28, 1933 in Taylor County, KY.  She died at 1:32 A.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Louisville, KY.     
 
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church in Greensburg. Barbara was a retired Loan officer at Community Trust Bank. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, travelling and shopping. She also enjoyed country and gospel music and loved helping out and offering a hand to anyone in need.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother, Woodruff “Woody” L. Newton.
 
Barbara united in marriage to Lewis E. Dobson May 9, 2009.

KENNY EASTRIDGE, 70, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Kenneth J. “Kenny” Eastridge, 70, of Campbellsville, KY passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Campbellsville. He was born in Adair County, KY on August 16, 1948 to the late Calvin & Winnie (Thrasher) Eastridge.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of New Journey Church. He was employed by the Fruit of the Loom plant until its closure; later, he would retire from the Mago Construction Company as a truck driver.
 
Mr. Eastridge was naturally coordinated and found success in many hobbies. He was a former pilot and bus driver, and enjoyed hunting and playing golf, horseshoes, and bowling. He was the proud father of two girls, and at an early age, loved sharing time in the woods coonhunting with them. He loved laughing with people, especially children, and always carried candy enough to share. His sly but genuine smile and twinkling eyes usually warranted forgiveness each time he was able to slip an Atomic Fireball to an unsuspecting adult.

Marie was a longtime employee of Sutton Shirt Corporation, Kentucky Apparel, and Electric Mills KY. She was a follower of Shepherd's Chapel.

Howard Mitchell Callahan, 89, of Demossville, KY died Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Charter Senior Living Facility in Edgewood, KY.  Born in Kings Mill, OH he was the son of the late Lee and Beatrice Bowman Callahan.  Mr. Callahan married Roberta Marie Cooley on June 17, 1957 the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Cooley.

Sissy was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Thomas "Tommy" Beams on July 2, 2013 having united in marriage on November 28, 2003.

JOHNNIE PENNINGTON, 81, MANNSVILLE

 
Johnnie Pennington, 81, of Mannsville, KY, son of the late Vance Pennington and Helen Belton Pennington, was born April 7, 1938 in Casey County, KY. He died at 9:15 A.M., Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Campbellsville. 
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Christian Church. Johnnie retired his comb and shears after over 60 years of telling stories and sharing laughs with all who sat in his chair. For more than 50 years, if you couldn’t find him in the barbershop, he could be found selling cars from his lot. Johnnie was also a member of the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge #568 F&AM. His smile and wave will always be remembered in the Mannsville Community and his good natured personality will be missed.
 
He united in marriage to Dorothy Larimore in 1963.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Myra Roberts March 19, 2001 and Margaret Gabehart September 10, 2008 and a step-grandson, Christopher Robin “Buzz” Rodgers August 30, 2018.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member at the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired Fruit of the Loom employee, ran a bakery out of her home, former member of the Black Gnat Homemakers, Women's Missionary Union Member and was a Homemaker.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ream "RB" Wright on July 4, 2004 having united in marriage on January 21, 1939.  She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Claudine Bonta, Irene Milby, and 2 infants; 3 brothers: Harris Mays, Cecil Mays and Clodus Mays.

ROBERT "BOB" WARE, 91, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Robert Eldred “Bob” Ware, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Delbert Dee Ware and Hattie Eldred Ware was born February 13, 1928 in Mason, Michigan. He died at 9:44 P.M., Friday, August 2, 2019 at his home. 
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mason First Presbyterian Church and attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Campbellsville. He was a retired pharmacist having owned and operated the family pharmacy in Mason, Michigan. Bob’s family and community were very important to him; he had served many years on the local school and bank boards. He loved nature and the outdoors and photographed many wildflowers on his travels in the Smoky Mountains and many other locations. Bob also loved hiking, golfing; playing Bridge and meeting new people.
 
He united in marriage to Erma Mae Roose June 10, 1950. She preceded him in death October 24, 2004. He later married Vera Nealy Bower June 9, 2007. 
 
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ed Ware and Harold Ware.

John Henry Groves, Jr., 63, was born October 27, 1955 to the late Louella Massey and John Groves, Sr. in Greensburg, KY. He departed this life Friday, August 2, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. 
 
He was preceded in death by his mother Louella Massey Groves, his father John Groves, Sr., his brother Tony Michael Groves, a grandchild Stefani Victorio a great grandchild Scarlette Cade Underwood and his first wife Ronda McDonald.
 
John love to hunt, fish, camp, play music and have a good time. Anyone who knew him never had a bad thing to say about him. He loved yard sales, horse showing and coon hounds. He was one of a kind.

J.D. Paxton, 70, was born February 5, 1949 in Green County, KY to Milerdine Akin Paxton of Greensburg and the late James “Heavy” Paxton. He departed this life Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of First Baptist Church of Leitchfield, where he served as a deacon. He retired from teaching at Grayson County High School. He enjoyed reading, loved to watch old western movies and to keep up with the news. He was united in marriage December 18, 1976 to Judy Lynn Gabehart Paxton, who preceded him in death April 21, 2019.

Anthony Wayne "Tony" Edelen, 64, of Campbellsville, KY was born on June 27, 1955 to the late Gus and Flossie (Cox) Edelen. He passed from this life on Friday, August 2, 2019 at his home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by those he loved. 
 
Mr. Edelen was a family man and had a soft spot for kids and animals. He loved to spend time playing PlayStation or watching NASCAR with them, or teaching them about guns and shooting. His big heart will be dearly missed.

Fred Logan Waddle, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late James William Waddle and Betty Newell Waddle, was born September 7, 1937 in Pulaski County, KY.  He died at 5:00 A.M., Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Campbellsville.   
 
He professed faith in Christ, was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Fred was a retired teacher, principal, athletic director and head coach of boy’s basketball, boy’s and girl’s track, boy’s cross country, and boy’s and girl’s golf at Taylor County High School. He was inducted into the Fifth Region Basketball Hall of Fame and the Kentucky Boy’s Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. His basketball teams won four regional championships. Fred also was former Taylor County Judge Executive and was president of the Kentucky County Judge/Executive Association. He was a member of Honorable Order Of Kentucky Colonels.
 
He united in marriage to Shirley Caulk Waddle March 24, 1956 and she preceded him in death January 20, 2017.

MARILYN JEAN SHREVE, 82, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Marlyn Jean Shreve, 82, of Campbellsville, KY was born on May 29, 1937 in Taylor County to the late Willard and Ethel (Antle) Perkins. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a faithful member of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church. As a young lady, she married Mr. Kenneth Ray Shreve and they remained a devoted couple until his passing in October 2007. Mrs. Shreve believed in faithfulness and hard work, and retired from the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville after 37 years of service. In 1971, she joined the Taylor County Republican Women. She served as Treasurer, Vice President, and two terms as the longest-running club President. She also served as Vice Chair for the Taylor County Republican Party, as well as being the first female elected to the Taylor County School Board.  Her most cherished position, though, was being the matriarch of a large and well-respected family. Her quiet strength and time-tested values and beliefs will live on for many generations through her children and grandchildren.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and was a Methodist Lay Speaker. Herald was a former member and chaplain of the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge #568 F&AM. He loved his family and enjoyed woodworking and made several items for his family. He also enjoyed farming and gardening. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Herald was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville,
 
He was also preceded in death by one brother & one sister: Robert Gabehart, Lucy Mings and a brother, Randolph Gabehart, in infancy.

Lois McAnelly, 83, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late George William Money & Commie Justus Sullivan Money, was born August 30, 1935 in Green County, KY. She died at 1:43 A.M., Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in Campbellsville.    
 
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. Lois was a retired vice-president with First Federal Savings Bank with thirty-four years of service.
 
She united in marriage to Guy McAnelly July 19, 1957 and he preceded her in death September 13, 2015. She was also preceded in death by a son, Alan Glen McAnelly on June 30, 1966.
 
SURVIVORS: 1 daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Mark Wigley of Acworth, Georgia; 1 grandson: Evan McAnelly Wigley of Acworth, Georgia; 2 brothers & 3 sisters: Gene Money & wife Delores, Eleanor Hedgespeth & husband Lilburn and Cora Faulkner of Campbellsville, Sue Sandidge & husband Terry and Junior Money & wife Sue Ellen of Buffalo; several nieces & nephews and many other relatives & friends.

Randy K. Bolin, 58, of Jamestown, KY passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital. Randy was born in Somerset, KY on August 12, 1960, a son of the late Levert (Farmer) and Waldo Bolin.

GENE ROYALTY, 89, RUSSELL CO.

 
Gene C. Royalty, age 89, was born in Mercer County, KY, a son of the late Holly & Emma Royalty.
 
Gene worked tirelessly his entire life to enrich and change the world around him. Most recently, he brought hundreds of jobs and commerce to Russell County through the realization of the Industrial Park in Russell Springs, KY. He gave his personal life the same dedication as he did in his business life. He has been loved by many and will be missed by all.
 
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Huntley Royalty.
