Terry Lee Edwards, 73, of Simpsonville, KY formerly of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:05 PM  at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY after illness. He was born on March 15, 1945 in Columbia, KY, the son the late Margie Edwards Bryant Lemmond.
 
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Efren Edwards in 1989, 1 brother & 1 sister: David Bryant & Betty Jo Bryant Jarrell and his step-father: Clifton Bryant.

MICHAEL ALLEN MILBY, JR. 50, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Michael Allen Milby, Jr., 50, of Campbellsville, KY passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born on November 11, 1967 to Michael A. “Mike” Milby, Sr., and the late Theresa (Jacobs) Milby. 
 
Mr. Milby was a mechanic by trade, and worked on heavy equipment. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed race cars and fishing, and loved teaching his grandbabies about both.

Jane Rainbow Rodz, 50, of Liberty, KY passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in New Haven, CT on March 11th, 1968, a daughter of Felix Seahorse and Julia Thomas Rodz of Liberty, KY.
 
Jane was a Auto Parts Employee.
 
Additional Survivors include: One Son: Michael Vaughn “Micco” Randall of Liberty, One Brother: Felix Rodz of Liberty and One Sister: Dee Nodelman of Georgia.

Garvey Stephens, 81, of Cynthiana, KY passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Russell County, KY on September 3, 1946 a son of the late Cornelius and Delphi Gosser Stephens.
 
In his early life Garvey was a carpenter and plumber by trade. He enjoyed playing cards and horse racing.

Preston Allen Gilbert, 34 of Glensfork, KY passed away suddenly Sunday, July 29, 2018 from injuries he received in a pickup truck accident on Interstate 75 near Union, KY. Allen was born October 5, 1983 in Mariemont, Ohio, the son of Tommy Henson & Betty Ann Gilbert.
 
Allen had attended Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church.
 
He was preceded in death by his mother: Betty Ann Gilbert in 2013 and his grandfather: Preston Gilbert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Ina Renell (Curtsinger) Johnson, 1 grandson: Bradley Asbury, 1 sister: Juanita Hale, and 3 brothers: Glen, Harold and Dave Johnson.
 
Bobby was a truck driver.

CARL GRANT TIPTON, 73, RUSSELL SPRINGS

 
Carl Grant Tipton, 73, of Russell Springs, KY (formerly of Dunnville) died Friday, July 27, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on October 7, 1944, in Powell County, KY, he was a son of the late Hubert and Attie Rodgers Tipton.  
 
Carl moved to Lexington in his early teenage years with his family where he played basketball for Lexington Junior High School and football for Henry Clay High School.  Soon after, he felt compelled to join the Army during the Vietnam Conflict and ended up faithfully serving 2 tours before receiving an honorable discharge from the military.
 
After his military service was over he worked as a licensed plumber for a few years and later started his own roofing business, which was called Tipton’s Roofing Company.  He successfully ran this company for many years until he retired and moved to Dunnville, KY in 1991.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, dirt track racing and being on the lake, in his pontoon, with his family and friends.  Carl was an avid bowler for many years, until he was diagnosed with cancer, and accomplished bowling 2 perfect, ABC sanctioned, 300 games as an amateur bowler.
 
In addition to his parents Carl was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Lenille, Roland & Johnny Meadows and Hubert Tipton Jr. and 2 sisters: Lorene Meadows & Ann McKay; 1 daughter-in-law Sherry Barber.

3 sons: Reggie (Ashley) Tipton of Windsor, KY; Kevin Tipton of Paris; Roger Barber of Lexington, KY

Debbie Smith Fleming, 62, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of Marina Brooke Smith and the late Paul E. Smith, was born December 19, 1955 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:00 A.M., Thursday, July26, 2018 in Campbellsville.   
 
Debbie was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Smith September 9, 1990. 
 
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

HELEN HARE, 77, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Helen Hare, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Raymond Curry and Ruth Ann Flanders Curry, was born March 26, 1941 in Larue County, Kentucky. She died at 9:00 A.M., Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Campbellsville.   
 
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
 
Helen dedicated more than forty-five years working first as a certified nurse assistant at Metzmeier Nursing Home and then later at Grandview Nursing Home as a medical technologist and restorative care specialist. Her family and her patients were her passion.
 
SURVIVORS: 2 two sons and 1 daughter: Ricky Hare, Ronnie Hare and Janet and Diana Evans and husband Greg of Campbellsville; 3 grandchildren: Brent Hare of Georgetown, Patricia Hart and husband Norbert of Midland, Georgia and Ben Walker of Campbellsville; 2 great-grandchildren: Morgana Lily Hart of Midland, Georgia and Brayden Reece Hare of Lexington; 2 brothers and 2 sisters: Thomas Curry, Gerald Curry, Opal Harris & husband, Robert and Wanda Brockman & husband Richard of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

LEONARD RAYMOND ANDERSON, 93, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Leonard Raymond Anderson, 93, formerly of Westport and Weston Connecticut, passed away July 25, 2018 in Campbellsville, KY from a short illness.
 
Born in 1925 at White Plains, NY and raised on Godfrey Road in Weston Connecticut, he attended South Kent School in Kent until he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943. After basic training he was stationed on Adak and Attu islands in the Aleutian chain. After WWII he attended Transylvania University in Lexington, KY graduating with a Business degree. In the early 1950's he worked for the State of Kentucky managing operations at Natural Bridge, Cumberland Falls and Kentucky Dam Village. Upon moving back to Lexington he opened and managed various restaurants and cafeterias.  He met June Fleming Wheeler of Versailles in 1952 and they were married in 1953. In 1962 he moved his family to Westport, Connecticut.
 
For many years he owned and operated Anderson Associates Real Estate and Insurance on Main Street in Westport and held positions on the Westport Board of Realtors, being elected President in 1967. In 1969 the family moved from Westport to Weston. In 70's and 80's he held public positions with the School Committee, Board of Tax Assessors and Board of Tax Review in both Westport and Weston. At the onset of the 1990's the family relocated to Frankfort, KY. After his first wife's unexpected passing he married Freida Noe of Campbellsville, KY in 1993. In Campbellsville he invested in Real Estate; traveled; and enjoyed his long retirement.
 
As a young man in the late 30's and 40's he was an accomplished swimmer earning many medals and awards at Longshore CC in Westport.  During the war he became a decorated marksman.  He coached Little League baseball in Weston for many years and later in life he enjoyed target shooting and golf.
 
SURVIVORS: Wife Freida, 1 step son Russ Noe & wife Colleen of Campbellsville; 2 sons and 1 daughter by his first marriage: John Brian Anderson (WHS '76) of Chelmsford, MA, Barry Clay Anderson (WHS '80) of Ellsworth, ME, Karen Anderson Bennett (WHS '84) of St. Petersburg, FL; 7 grandchildren
 
A private family service is to be held in the future.

Roxie Geneva Davenport, 95,  was born October 26, 1922 in Green County, KY to the late Rev. Jim and Dora Moran Bloyd.  She departed this life Thursday, July 26, 2018 at her home in Green County.
 
She had made profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association.  
 
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ollen T. Davenport, two brothers and one sister:  Charles and Arnold Bloyd and Orvilla Clark.
 
SURVIVORS: 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law:  Michael D. and Patricia Davenport of Louisville, Verlon Davenport and Wilford and Marshelia Davenport of Greensburg, 2 brothers:  Rev. PAULINE (GARRETT) WORKMAN, 101, MARROWBONE

 
Pauline (Garrett) Workman, 101, of Marrowbone, KY died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Nazareth Home in Louisville, KY. She was born in the Marrowbone Community of Cumberland County, KY on October 14, 1916, the eldest daughter of Stanley and Verta (Davis) Garrett. 
 
She was a member of Marrowbone United Methodist Church, Auburn Christian Church in Auburn, Illinois, and a clerical worker at Time, Inc. She was a 1934 graduate of the first graduating class of Martha Norris Memorial High School in Marrowbone, KY. She then moved to Illinois, and while there she attended Eastern Illinois University. She met and married her beloved husband, Dale Workman, on May 1, 1940, where they lived and worked in Chicago, Illinois, spent summers at their farm in Moorehead, Minnesota and traveled the world together until his death in 1983. She then returned to Marrowbone, KY where she resided until October 2015 and spent her last three years at the Nazareth Home in Louisville, KY. 
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Garrett, sisters, Margarine (Garrett) Armstrong and Dana (Garrett) Bradshaw. 
 
SURVIVORS: 1 brother-in-law, Gary (Barbara) Workman of Moorehead, Minnesota, local nieces, Brenda (Bradshaw) Schissler (Wesley) of Crestwood, KY and Glenda Bradshaw of Louisville, KY. Rev. Lewis Haynes, 85, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 6:57 A.M. at his home. He was born February 14, 1933, in Wolfe County, KY to the late Lucian and Esther Hollon Haynes.  
 
He graduated from Campbellsville College and started his teaching career, retiring after 47 years from the Adair County School System, was an Ordained Baptist Pastor, serving Harrods Fork Baptist Church, Russell Heights Baptist Church and Plum Point Baptist Church in Adair County for a total of 58 years in the ministry.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and enjoyed going to McDonalds every day.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Jehovah Jireh Ministries in Campbellsville and was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, hiking and especially fishing, and her children considered her a super mom.

Sharon Kay Sherrell, 62, the daughter of the late Howard Adrian Hicks and Edna Jane Sidwell Edwards, was born Monday, September 26, 1955 in Taylor County and departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Campbellsville at her home. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Whites Ridge Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Sharon loved her husband, her daughters and siblings, but the love for those seven grandchildren was never ending. Sharon loved to sing and in her final hours she sang “Sweet Beulah Land” a song she loved and a place she longed to see.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for over twenty years. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother and always liked to joke with her family.
 
She united in marriage to William “Bill” Lee September 3, 1955.  He preceded her in death April 8, 2007.  She was also preceded in death by five sister and two brothers: Maxine Stonecipher, Lonita Hancock, Annelle Cox, Doris Combs, Judy Estes, Leon Bault and Gordon Bault.

NORMAN JOHNSON, 89, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Norman Johnson, 89, of Campbellsville, KY, a son of the late J. Martin Johnson and Pauline Peterson Johnson, was born August 25, 1928 in Adair County, KY.  He died at 11:05 A.M., Friday, July 20, 2018 in Louisville.
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of Korea War having served his country honorably in the United States Army. Norman was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. 
 
Norman was co-owner of Johnson Motor Company for twenty years. He loved to tinker on things and attend church services. Those who visited Norman would often find him listening to books on tape. It has been said he would listen to five or seven books a week.
 
He united in marriage to Margaret Hines Howard on July 30, 1970 and she preceded him in death May 7, 2003.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Doug Johnson and a step-son, Richard “Ricky” Howard September 25, 1995.

Bobby Joseph Sharp, of Jeffersonville, KY, formerly of Casey County, KY passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Casey County Hospital in Liberty. He was 70.
 
Born on April 3, 1948, in Marion County, Indiana, he was a son of the late Oscar Lee and Thelma “Rae” Meeks Sharp. Bobby was a welder and a truck driver. He drove for NEAT Trucking for several years.

RONNIE H. MORRIS, 70, TAYLOR CO.

 

Ronnie H. Morris, 70, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Coy Morris and Estelle Beard Morris, was born September 27, 1947 in Larue County, Kentucky. He died at 3:52 P.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Elizabethtown.         
 
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. He was a veteran of Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army. Ronnie was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after forty-five years of service. He enjoyed tending to his lilies and bushhogging when he was able. He also enjoyed loafing at the pawn shop and Robert’s Repair.
 
He united in marriage to JoAnn Brewer June 28, 1971.
 
Besides his wife, JoAnn Morris of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Veronica Seales and husband, Todd of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Rebecca Matney and husband, Jason of Bowling Green; three granddaughters and one grandson: Meredith Seales, Ciara Matney, Tinslee Matney and Blake Wooley; one brother and three sisters: Ralph Morris and wife, Helen, Nancy Thompson and husband, Ray and Elizabeth Knight and husband, Chester of Elizabethtown and Annette Bell and husband, Larry of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
 
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Marzetta Morris in infancy.

Estill Dewayne Hale, 53, of Liberty, KY passed away on July 17, 2018, at his residence. Born on September 21, 1964, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Cyrus Mack and Ruby Avalene Weddle Hale. 
 
Estill was a gate hauler for 35+ years. He loved spending time with his children and granddaughter. Estill was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

ROBERT CHARLES MARTON, 90,

 
Robert Charles Marton, 90, of the Glensfork community of Adair County, KY (formerly of Central Point, Oregon) died Monday, July 16, 2018 at the TJ Health/Columbia Emergency Room. He was born June 1, 1928, the youngest of eleven children of Hungarian immigrants Alex and Julia Varga Morton. 
 
He served his country during World War II, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Campbellsville, a college football player and retired as Business Manager of the Josephine County School District in Grants Pass, Oregon.

BRO. RANDALL MCPHERSON, 90, BURKESVILLE

 
Bro. Randall McPherson, 90, of Burkesville, KY passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his home in Burkesville. He was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 1, 1928, the son of Jack & Velma (Froedge) McPherson. 
 
He was a preacher of the gospel of Christ for over 60 years, and during his lifetime he preached full time in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana, as well as holding meetings in numerous places in Kentucky, 9 other states and Canada. He was a mentor to several young men to become preachers of the gospel. He was currently a member of the Seminary Church of Christ, one of three congregations he helped to establish. He was a sign painter, carpenter, realtor and auctioneer. 
 
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Velma (and Lawrence) Pitcock, his father and stepmother, Jack (and Ruth) McPherson, and his beloved son, Rickey Terrell McPherson.

Jim Garnett Burris, 90, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was born on June 15, 1928 to the late Willie & Pearl (Downey) Burris.
 
Mr. Burris had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He was a heavy equipment operator, and the owner/operator of Garnett Burris Excavating. A veteran of the United States Army, he served his country honorably during the Korean War. He loved his family and friends, and spent as much time as possible with them.

Buck was an avid fisherman.  He was a member of Christ Tabernacle Church.

BOBBY JOE DILE, 57, GREENSBURG

 
Bobby Joe Dile, 57, of Greensburg, KY passed from this life on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green after an illness. He was born on January 19, 1961 to Evelyn (Price) and the late Kenneth Dile. 
 
Mr. Dile was a retired employee of the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville, and was of the Baptist faith. He was affectionately known as a great friend with a genuine, kind, and giving heart, and was described as the type of person who, “If he had a dollar, you had a dollar.”
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dile, in 2016, and his soulmate, Margaret Mason Smith, in 2018.

BILLY O'NEIL LLOYD, 87, RUSSELL CO.

 
Billy O'Neil Lloyd, 87, of Russell County, KY, a son of the late Carma and Josephine Gann Lloyd, was born on June 4, 1931 in Corbin, KY and departed this life on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home in the Eli Community of Russell County.
 
Billy had professed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and had been active at the Parksridge Church of God. He attended Berea College, nearly completing his degree in Political Science before he entered the United States Air Force on January 10, 1951, bravely serving his country until October 16, 1953, and receiving the National Defense Service Medal.
 
After attending  the Kentucky State Polic Academy, as well as the FBI Academy, Bill-Unit 162-proudly served the Commonwealth of Kentucky in this brotherhood from July 6, 1954 until his retirement from the Kentucky State Police on July 1, 1986, having acheived the rank of Detective Sargeant .Upon retirement from the Kentucky State Police, Bill served as Commonwealth's Detective for the 29th Judicial Circuit from 1986 until 1997.
 
Bill was a 50+year Mason, and was an active member of F&AM Lodge #96 in Columbia, Ky on May 6, 1957. He was united in marriage to Frances Jeanette Thompson Lloyd, who preceded him in death  on Aprl 22, 1979. To this union were born 2 daughters: Melinda Jackson Lloyd, on January 30, 1960 and Sara Jane Lloyd, on March 29, 1962. Later, on June 7, 1986, Bill was united in marriage to Joyce Popplewell Lloyd, who preceded him in death on January 1, 2001.
 
In addition to his parents and wives, Bill was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jo Lloyd Culpepper on November 23, 1998 and his stepdaughter, Lori Ann Wilson Antle on October 5, 2014.

Margaret Giles, 82, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 6:55 P.M. at Liberty Health & Rehab in Liberty. She was born June 16, 1936, in Adair County, KY to the late Audy and Annie Campbell Sanders.  
 
Margaret was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church and retired from the Department for Social Services as a Service Aide.

Erlene Himes, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Harry Maynard Troutman and Erniebell Troutman, was born January 2, 1941 in Concord, North Carolina. She died at 2:51 P.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Louisville. 
 
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired Librarian for Marion County School System and was the director of the Marion County Public Library for six years.
 
She united in marriage to Bobby Himes August 20, 1961. He preceded her in death June 28, 2008.
 
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Bowers.

EDMOND TRAUTMAN, 96, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Edmond Trautman, 96, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late William Shelby Trautman and Ealon Rhynearson Trautman, was born September 1, 1921, in Taylor County, KY. He died at 7:18 P.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Louisville.
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World Wart II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of Battery B 44th Field Artillery Battalion. Edmond retired from farming, which he loved and was considered by everyone to be “an all around good guy”.
 
He united in marriage to Doris Gabehart December 9, 2009.
 
Besides his wife, Doris Trautman of Campbellsville, he is survived by one sister, Mary Alice Jones of Louisville; a special nephew: Kevin Gabehart and wife, Lisa of Lebanon; and many other relatives and friends.
 
Edmond was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Marcus Trautman, Irene Clark and Myrtle Stubbs and a half-brother, Abb Puryear.

She was a member of the Grider United Methodist Church and a school teacher for 20 years in the Cumberland County School System. She attended Pikeville College, received her undergraduate degree from Clinch Valley College in Wise, Virginia, and received her masters of education degree from Western Kentucky University.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Mark Hall, her brothers: Kermit Bartley, Clinnard Bartley & Kemper Bartley, and her brother-in-law: Barney Coleman.

He was a member of the Waterview Church of Christ, business owner of Stover’s Service Station in Marrowbone, Kentucky, a retired bus driver of 32 years with the Cumberland County Board of Education and a farmer.

Sonny was a carpenter and painter. He took pride in painting numerous homes and businesses throughout Casey County. Sonny was a basketball fan. He frequented and enjoyed the Casey County Senior Citizen Center.

Mary Rebecca “Becky” Lovett, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late James Wethington and Mellie Wethington, was born September 28, 1942 in Casey County.  She died July 9, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness.
 
She attended Campbellsville Baptist Temple where she made a profession of faith and was a Sunday School and children’s church teacher. She spent 40 years as an educator, teacher, and principal. Becky loved storytelling, loved working with children, and loved her Lord. She loved working in her garden and spending time with her family.

Betty Sue Hudgins, 66, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late G.T. and Jewell (Pike) Eubank, passed from this life on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. She was born on March 12, 1952. 
 
Mrs. Hudgins professed faith in Christ and attended the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of the Fruit of the Loom factory in Campbellsville and loved her family dearly. She especially loved cooking and keeping a warm, inviting home.

Dessie Page Frankum, 95, of Columbia, KY passed away on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at her home after several months illness. She was born October 26, 1922 in Sparksville, KY, the daughter of the late Otis and Ora Emily Yarberry Page. 
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Owen Frankum on October 1, 2005, son-in-laws: Don Grant and Ron Greene, one sister: Corrine Ballou and one brother: James Page.
 
She was united in marriage to her loving childhood sweetheart, Luther Owen Frankum on February 24, 1940.
 
Dessie lived an incredible life full of love, and was the epitome of the hardworking American woman, from her time as a real-life “Rosie The Riveter” during World War II in Chicago, Illinois to 25 years of factory work in Kentucky, and raising 3 children. She was brave and ever-strong her whole life, and until the very end.  She is irreplaceable, and the world for us who knew her will be a lot less bright. Her smile, sense of humor and wit were unmatched in our family.  She will be forever missed.

Raymond Edward Trae Wells III, 24, of Campbellsville, KY died Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on January 21, 1994 to Raymond Edward, Jr. and Cindy (Antle) Wells.

 

He was a 2017 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbia. Mr. Wells had an energetic and outgoing spirit; his good-natured yet competitive energy on the soccer pitch or basketball court won him many lifelong friends around the world. He loved most outdoor sports, and enjoyed relaxing on the lake.

STANLEY COFFMAN, 72, LOUISVILLE

 
Stanley Coffman, 72, of Louisville, KY passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  Born on May 5, 1946 in Casey County, KY, Stanley was the son of the late Albert “Buzz” and Lennie Hale Coffman. 
 
Stanley was retired from General Electric Company where he spent many years. Stanley loved to fish and watch westerns.
 
SURVIVORS: wife, Janice, whom he married on February 21, 1970; 1 son, Steve (Donna) Coffman of Louisville; 1 brother, Davey (Ruth) Coffman of Liberty; 1 sister, Nellie (Eugene) Lewis of Liberty; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and very special family members Katie Devine, Billy Robertson, Amy Johnson, William Robertson and Laura Robertson
 
In addition to his parents, Stanley is proceeded in death by 2 brothers, Garry & Maurice Coffman

Ila Emerson Tarter, 89, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Liberty Care Center. She was born in Evona, KY on December 24, 1928, a daughter of the late George A. and Levona Luttrell Emerson.
 
Ila was the widow of Bernal Lewis Tarter.
 
Ila was a former cook at the Galilean Home, a caregiver and a member of South Fork Separate Baptist Church.

JIM MILBY, 71, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 

Jim Milby, 71, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Earl Milby and Allie Wood Milby, was born June 30, 1947 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 3:50 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Campbellsville.         
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. Jim served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of UPS and was as a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F & AM.
 
Jim united in marriage to Linda Phipps on July 25, 1970.
 
Besides his wife, Linda Milby of Campbellsville, he is survived by 1 son and 1 daughter: Jeremy Milby and wife, Sarah of Campbellsville and Nicole Milby of Lexington; 5 grandchildren: McCall Milby, Keegan Milby, Myla Milby, Jake Gupton and Hannah Gupton; 2 brothers and 1 sister: Bill Milby, Bob Milby and wife, Jane and Lucille Orange of Campbellsville; his mother-in-law, Faye Colvin; one sister-in-law and 1 brother-in-law, Kathy George and Kenneth Phipps all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
 
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Aileen Skaggs on April 13, 2017.

DONALD GOFF, 76, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Donald Goff, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Homer Goff and Alice “Eva” Bennett Goff, was born December 6, 1941 in Hart County, KY. He died at 8:05 P.M., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Louisville.
 
He professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church.  Donald was a former Ferrier, lifelong farmer, avid outdoorsman, a gardener and to say he was a horse lover would be putting it mildly.
 
He united in marriage to Ellen Buchanan May 27, 2001.
 
Besides his wife, Ellen B. Goff of Campbellsville, he is survived by 3 daughters: Angela Leonard and husband, John of Wilmington, Delaware, Allyson Bagwell and husband, Bo of Versailles and Mindi Goff of Campbellsville; 2 grandsons: Connor Burton of Campbellsville and Andrew Dick of Panama City, Florida; 1 great-grandson, Travis Dick of Panama City, Florida; a special grand-dog, Ike Bagwell; 2 sisters and 2 brothers: Geraldine Jones and husband, Milton of Campbellsville, Phyllis Wagster and husband, John of Michigan, Dwayne Goff and wife, Della of Drakesboro and Glenn Goff of Greenville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Dorothy Marine, 76, of Liberty, KY passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence.  She was born in Lothair, KY on August 3rd, 1941 a daughter of the late Robert Jasper Keith and Pearl Pelfry Keith.
 
Dorothy was a L.P.N.
 
Survivors include: Her Spouse: Ronald Marine, Two Daughters: Cheri and (Jerry) Wilson of Yosemite and Connie and (Jerry) Dick of Bethelridge, One Son: Steven and (Cynthia) Howard of Yosemite, Fourteen Grandchildren and Twenty Three Great Grandchildren.
 
Preceding her in death besides his parents was One Son: Ronald “David” Howard and Four Sisters: Ida Bowcock, Pearl Antico, Bobbie Joyce Moore and a Infant Sister.
 
A Celebration of Life Service will announced at a later date.
 
Cremation Rites were honored by Bartle Funeral Home.
 

GARLAND "TUBBY" RICHARDSON, 81, YOSEMITE

 
Garland “Tubby” Richardson, 81, of Yosemite, KY passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Casey County Hospital.  Born July 9, 1936 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Arnold and Geneva Patterson Richardson.  
 
Tubby was a self-employed equipment operator but was considered as a “jack of all trades.” He was a man of many talents. He loved playing his guitar and singing.
 
Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary Jo Wheeler Richardson, whom he married on April 21, 1956; two daughters, Deborah Meece of Yosemite, and Angela (Brad) Luttrell of Dunnville; five grandchildren, Danny G., Tori, Jami, Justin, and Becky; and five great-grandchildren, Clara, Memphis, Maci, Tucker, and Westin. Tubby is also survived by two sisters, Iva Dean Strevels and Zonia Ree Benson, both of Liberty.
 
In addition to his parents, Tubby is preceded in death by a son, Gregory Garland Richardson and one sister, Alberta Richardson.
